Majority of the Filipinos want the
Philippine Vice President to face Senate Blue Ribbon subcommittee probe in
connection to the alleged overpricing of Makati Building II, this was released
by the SWS (Social Weather Stations) survey.
The recent September 26 to 29 survey
that was conducted by Social Weather Stations result was first published on the
Business World, said that 79% of 1,200 survey respondents agree that vice-president
should face Senate and answer all the allegations of corruption towards him.
10 percent of respondents
disagreed, while the other 11 percent were undecided on the said matter.
The survey had sampling error
margins of ±3% for national and ±6% for area percentages.
The SWS result said that 79
percent agreed Binay should face Senate probe, 57% “strongly” agreed and 22%
“somewhat”
agreed. Six percent respondents "somewhat” disagreed, 4% “strongly”
disagreed, and 1% have no answer for the question.
