The 350 hectare Farm - “high-end hacienda” with “maze garden”

In Rosariotown of Batangas province Barangay Maligaya a 350—hectare agricultural estate that has piggery, flower orchard and cock farm is currently owned by a corporation whose shareholders are reportedly dummies of Jejomar Binay the Philippine Vice President, this was according to former Makati City Vice Mayor Mercado.

Former Makati Vice Mayor Mercado is a geodetic engineer by profession, said that he had proof that the farm in Batangas measured 350 hectares and was owned by Vice President’s family.


He also promised to present this evidences at Senate blue ribbon committee hearing, not only proof of Binay’s ownership of the said property but photos of other Binay assets.
Mercado, showed aerial photos of the said agriculture estate in Batangas, described the property as a “high-end hacienda.

The farm has “an air-conditioned piggery and a flower farm that grows orchids of the imported variety.

It has cock farm, it is a man—made lagoon, with a swimming pool and huge house. The former vice mayor added that it had a “maze garden” patterned after the Kew Gardens in London, one of the city’s top attractions.


Mercado also said that when he traveled to London in the year 2007 with Vice President and Dr. Elenita Binay to attend the 100th Boy Scouts Jamboree, they went to the Kew Gardens in consideration of the Vice President’s wife, who likes orchids and gardens.
