Vice President Binay unsuccessful in stopping probe

President Aquino and Vice President Binay may be closed but the president did not listen Binay’s request to stop DOJ from the investigation of the suspected irregularities in the building construction in the city of Makati, this was said by Senator Trillanes.

During their recent meeting, VP Binay asked President to stop DOJ’s ongoing investigation. This was said by Trillanes according to his two of the most reliable sources.

“First, the senator clarified that he wasn’t hitting President [when the senator criticized administration earlier but people around him,” Said by Senator Trillanes in telephone interview.

“Two, he said he was being harassed by the DOJ. So he was trying to persuade the President, using their personal relationship to, in a way, influence the upcoming investigation. That didn’t happen,” Trillanes said.

 “How can Vice President ask President to stop probe that had not even started,” Governor Remilla Binay’s spokesperson said.

“Trillanes has habit of inventing things, the two people in the said meeting. Senator Trillanes was not one of them. What I know, President thinks very little of Senator Trillanes,” Gov. Remulla said.
