In Olongapo, the Philippine vice
president visited the wake of Jennifer Laude the transgender that was murdered.
Vice President Binay says that he
was in Zambales to discuss with the housing projects in the said area when he
was told that her wake is nearby.
The vice president spent minutes
with the Laude's family and dropped by another wake just next door. Binay avoided
questions on VFA (Visiting Forces Agreement), saying that he knows nothing
about the controversial provisions that are being tied now with Laude's case.
Binay says he will leave it up to the Congress.
The German fiancé of Jennifer Laude
is also planning to go to Philippines to attend her funeral.
The family of Jennifer has been
waiting for Sueselbeck's confirmation if he will be able to fly to Olongapo
before deciding when she will be laid to rest.
