Air Strike to Abu Sayyaf in Sulu launched by Philippine Armed Force

Earlier today Philippine Air Force launched air strikes against Abu Sayyaf Group in the Barangay Buhanginan of Patikul Sulu.

The said government forces stepped up its offensive operation against the rebel Abu Sayyaf sub—leader Hatib Sawadjaan following a recent clash with the members of the said terror group in the Barangay Bungkaong Saturday morning November 1.

The government soldiers able to seize a mini satellite camp that was abandoned by Abu Sayyaf group.

The Philippine Armed Forces authorities said they are is still determining whether or either the side sustained casualties in the said encounter.

As of now a pursuit operations has been conducted, while continuing its efforts to rescue the 10 remaining hostages of the Abu Sayyaf.
