NO Debate Vice President Binay Backs out

VP Binay said that he is backing out on the scheduled debate on November 27 with Senator Trillanes.
The Philippine Vice President disclosed his decision on his 72nd birthday at Philippine Marines headquarters. This was according to report by the GMA by Sandra Aguinaldo.

During the time when he was asked to comment on Sen. Trillanes' claim that Binay camp has advantage over him because he is a lawyer. When he was asked what could have changed his mind, VP Binay said that his decision is final.


Previously it was VP Binay challenged Sen. Trillanes to a public debate. VP Binay and Sen. Trillanes' camps agreed on November 27 as the debate day.

KBP (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas) earlier said that four general issues will be tackled in the said debate.

 According to the KBP president, the debate will cover following topics:
  • ·         Is Senate subcommittee hearing to Binay justifiable?
  • ·         Is PDAF or DAP legal?
  • ·         Does VP Binay own Batangas farm?
  • ·         Is Makati Building II overpriced?



The said debate would have been at Philippine International Convention Center PICC Pasay City 10 a.m. of November 27.
