President Aquino to Akbayan Representative Bello – “try running as President in 2016”

Philippine President Aquino III blasted the Akbayan Representative Walden Bello, for having so many criticisms and even thinking like “traditional politician.”

In an interview with the Philippine president in Laguna Mr. Aquino said to Representative Bello to “try running the next national election of 2016 in order for him to realize his visions (own) for our country, He has a lot of complaint and he thinks that his visions are the right ones, then he should try running for the position of the Philippine president in 2016. If he becomes the country’s president, he will implement those visions that he have in mind,” Aquino said.

A Philippine News agency “Philippine Daily Inquirer” quoted Representative Bello saying that Aquino administration already lost its moral high ground because of corruption issues that its members are now facing.

Aquino believes that he is doing his job as the country’s president and contradicted Bello, who has slammed administration’s tendency to provide bigger a allocations for the provinces where his allies rule.

Bello blasted Budget Secretary Abad and called him “trapo.” But President Aquino said this is the way "trapo" thinks (referring to Bello).
