Update: 3 United States ships canceled Subic port calls

The said cancelation of the port calls of United States ships in Subic were immediately noted as due to the “changing operational requirements” and not related to the recent case of Laude a Filipino transgender who slayed by a United States Marine.

DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) was then informed through diplomatic channels on the said cancelation of the three US ships for some operational reasons, this was confirmed by Charles Jose the DFA Assistant Secretary Spokesman in press briefing.

According to the spokesperson “the usual purpose of the said port calls is for operational reasons and repair and we can say that it is not related to any military exercises.

Subic Bay Freeport released statement saying that a total nine US ships cancelled its port calls that made them disappointed because of revenues they could have earned.

The said Negative sentiments against US poured out following the murder of the Filipino transgender “Jennifer” Laude allegedly by the US Marine Pfc Scott Pemberton in a small motel in Olongapo city.
