Suspected leader of NPA (New
People's Army) was recently arrested in the City of Caloocan, this was
confirmed by the Caloocan authorities.
Danilo Masarin the Senior
Superintendent chief of Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and
Detection Group in the National Capital Region, said that Billy Morado alias
Opal was then arrested in Barangay Bagong Silang in the City of Caloocan.
Chief Masarin said that Morado is
now facing 11 counts of murder, attempted murder and frustrated murder.
Morado is allegedly leader of NPA
in the province of Samar. His group was responsible for deaths of several
members of Philippine Army's 20th Infantry Battalion in the stated area.
