Toyota’s Hydrogen Fuel Technology to wash out Gas powered engines

Last November 17 of 2014, Toyota leaders invited Treehugger and other selected journalists around the globe to Newport, California, for them to witness the most unveiling and their long anticipated, the finalized road—ready, hydrogen fueled vehicle.

In Japanese term, “Mirai” meaning “future,” for Toyota, they have seen bright and clean future where roads are filled with the FCVs emitting nothing into environment but water vapor and big smiles from the eco—conscious drivers.

While several were not drinking hydrogen Kool—Aid just yet—with questions in the surrounding just how clean the said production of the hydrogen fuel will help the environment, saying FCVs simply “move the tailpipe” upstream to production stage.

There were number of auto manufacturers following Toyota’s Vision on FCV production (Hyundai’s Tucson is also ready), with the local and the federal governments jumping on the board to make much needed infrastructure on its realization.

Whether you are a pro or con, the hydrogen fuel is what we are waiting - finally here, and it looks like to get cleaner will be at hand with the future manufacturing the hydrogen powered engines.
