“Philippine defense set to
received brand new AW-109Es within this year”, this was announced by PH
official Chief Commander Fabric on an exclusive interview and with this it confirms
the final status of the order.
PH acquisition of AW-109Es has two versions, the armed
and unarmed unit. The version in which will be delivered are the armed ones’,
it is fully equipped with light machine guns that can combat from air and even
to ground using rockets.
Earlier of this year three unarmed
AW-109Es was already delivered to
the Philippine Navy, and was commissioned to join the navy operation. But its formal
ceremony was done December of last year.

AW-109Es is considered to be the best among other fighting copters due
to its remarkable maneuvering capability and it’s very much lightweight. It has
soaring operation capability on sea and it’s considered as SHIP HANGAR. It is very lightweight with a weight of 3 tons, which
can carry 8 passengers and 2 crews.
