China and Malaysia Ally or Not?

Territorial dispute has been on the news for several days, other Asian countries affected by China’s aggressive territorial reclamation behavior submitted dispute case.

Malaysia on the other hand suffers also from Chinas aggressive claims as it overlaps its territory on some coastal areas of the South, but we never hear them shouting like what other country did.

Malaysia to China has its own dispute case over South China Sea, but two countries share the same consensus on handling dispute issues. 

Malaysian Authorities have not even responded on dispute report published by a US based paper.

Philippines, Vietnam and Japan rivalries towards China on its territorial claims, Chinese and Japanese jets almost collide in the middle of the tension on territorial claims.

But for Malaysia, they have been interested for future good relations towards China by letting them make a mark, and according to source Malaysia has strong trade relation with china does it has less economic dependence on United States.

In comparison to the Philippines, they have focused on defense modernization on military capabilities to defend and guard coastal territories as Chinese continue to threat its territorial landmarks.
