“Fake pig ears for sale”
the international food administration are currently investigating China for
producing export pig ears made from gelatin, this happens when the export
department found out batch of fake pig ears.
Bogus pig ears discovered in
Ganzhou eastern province when a customer complained strange smell when the ears
were cooked, this was reported on the news paper.
Upon investigation form the food
safety authority officials they found out that the pig ears were made from “gelatin”
with sodium oleate commonly used in
production of soaps.
Chinas unscrupulous and weak
enforcement of business laws and practice give its community and hole to create new food
scandals. A photo showed by food
authority official showing the examination of fake ears, in which this appears
to be light brown color and a plastic texture.
Original Pig Ears should have
hair and some small amount of blood vessels compared to the fake one that you
will obviously notice its color at the first place.
Pig ears are very common in China
as a main ingredient, and this gives an idea for those who want to take
advantage of fake products with the use of gelatin.
In the previous year 30 people
were arrested for selling cooking oil from leftovers, and who will forget the
scandal of all time the Milk Scandal from China in which “melamine” was found
on the dairy products to look like it has a high in protein.
