Another Ally has been found on
Philippine President‘s issue regarding the controversial allocation of DAP
Disbursement Acceleration Program.
Mayor Duterte a lawyer said that "there
is nothing wrong with Aquino’s view challenging the Philippine Supreme Court to
reevaluate its decision on DAP as Illegal".
“The only thing that President Aquino
said that he was expecting Supreme Court backups DAP legality.”
According to Duterte “there
is nothing wrong with Aquino’s Statement”, however he also express his
warning to the government on DAP issue for misuse and not properly
handled.
The Supreme Court has snubbed
administrative code 1987 in which this gives the Executive the power to use
savings to appropriate on some deficits. So President Aquino have not violate
any law on DAP’s approval.
“We might be on the same branches
of the equal government office in which we need a third branch to intervene, as
we find it so difficult to understand your decision (referring to SC)”.
This was the statement said by Mayor Duterte on a speech televised recently.
