Franchising Industry in the Philippines Rank as “World Class”

“One of the best in the world”, this is what our Philippine Industry rank.  The statement was pointed by the father of Franchising Mr. Samie Lim during the opening of FAP (Franchise Asia Philippines 2014) this is an international Expo and conference held at Convenience Center of SMX.

In a study by EGS a survey firm and international consultancy said that “Philippine ranks as highest in the category of franchising worldwide”. Franchise industry has a huge contribution in the Philippine economy.

Reports from the DTI shows that franchise grew From 600 to 1,200 and workers boom from million in the year 2000 and billion in 2011, the industry continues to increase from 20 to 25 percent with its annual turnover of USD3 billion to USD7 billion.

Philippine Association in Franchise has been integrated by the ASEAN franchise committee in order to help our own franchises. The growth of our local franchising has been boosted by Retail Domestic Law, in which this creates equal participation both local and foreign partnership.
