Manila Mayor Estrada led the
ceremonies of the turnover of the 12 brand new Nissan Almera cars given to Police
District of Manila.
The said new Nissan cars given
will then be converted to mobile police units, in order to strengthen security in the city. It will also increase the emergency response by the Philippine
police in times of security threat.
“More cars will be coming”
this is what Mayor Estrada said on his speech during the turnover ceremony, and
additional 15 pick-ups will also be available for the use of the police personnel’s.
“The last administration in manila
has left lots of gaps and now we are seriously filling those gaps in order to
compete with the city security standards.” Estrada added.
Upon stating those words Manila
Mayor Estrada drew cheers from the swarm, specially the time that he promise
for financial allowance (additional to current) to the manila police.
