One of the few fighting
equipments during WWI and WWII, M-4 Sherman remains as the most widely used
tanks in the battlefield during the world war era. Designed by AL Company and
produced in 1941 to 1945.
M-4 Sherman was named based from
the name of Gen. William T. Sherman. However even though it leaves an iconic image during
the global war, this tank was not as victorious as it seemed.
Its total weight is about 66,800
lbs or 30.3 tons, with five crews in total which includes gunner, driver,
co-driver and loader. Gasoline fueled engine with 400 horsepower at a48km/h
maximum speed and 30km/h on suspension roads.
Equip with M2 L/32 75mm with a 90
rounds per minute fire power as primary weapon and .50 caliber browning with
300 rounds per minute with a built in flame thrower.
