“Who is the Goliath?”

The Philippine Senator criticized Vice President Binay for the portrayal of himself as underdog in his battle against the allegations of corruption.

Senator Trillanes said that Binay is a ''political Goliath'' the one who wields the influence, the one that his political opponents should fear.

''Ang ginagawa natin hindi ito madali. Iyung sinasabi niya na political giant, siya ang political Goliath. Hindi kami,'' Senator Trillanes said, he refers to the ongoing Senate Blue Ribbon sub-committee probe in the alleged overpriced Building construction in the Makati.

Binay together with his son the Makati Mayor Binay, and Makati officials have been accused for the pocketing the public funds in lieu to the overpricing of the building's construction.

In his speech during the recently concluded awarding ceremonies of 10 Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines, VP Binay said that he expects ''more political fireworks and mud on my face in the days to come."

''But don’t worry, my friends. When you see me in this uniform, I am your brother Scout with the innocence of a boy who finds joy in the left handshake. "

VP Binay branded Senate probe as demolition efforts towards him.
