Iraq authorities said that Islamic
State extremists (IS) executed 300 members or more of Iraqi tribe in the province
Anbar, including the 50 women and children whose bodies found stuffed in the water
well.
The witnesses quoted saying the said
killings were still ongoing and included massacre of the 50 people from targeted
Sunni Nimr tribe. The fifty others were also
reported killed last Saturday.
The human rights officials of Iraq
said that 65 members of the said tribe were kidnapped after battling with the
IS fighters for several weeks before running out of its ammunition.
The Western news also reports that
senior tribal leader Naeem al-Gaoud saying he had repeatedly asked Baghdad
government more men and more weapons, but there was no action taken.
State television of Iraq said that
the Prime Minister already ordered airstrikes on the said extremist positions
near town of Hit, as response to the recent killings.
