Philippine Bureau of Customs announced
that there are 1,000 or more jobs to be open by its agencies, collection
districts and offices in the country.
A total of 1,056 vacancies for
the BOC’s first level and second level job positions. Commissioner John P.
Sevilla hopes that these vacancies will be fill up and will provide faster
service to exporters and importers and all the dealings with our Customs.
As of now 3,600 BOC employees
tasked to fulfill lots of mandates, the lack of man power is expected by
natural reasons, due to resignation, death, dropping from rolls, dismissal from
services and retirement. Among the positions available in BOC includes COPO (Customs
Operation Officer) I – IV with salary grade from 10-18k; ADOF (Administrative
Officer) I-V with Salary Grade 10-18 respectively.
Interested applicants must possess
the following requirements.
- Civil Service Eligibility, PRC or SC as appropriate
- Diploma and Transcript of Records
- Training Certificates and Seminars attended
- Performance Appraisal last 2 years for those who work in government offices
